Well, I missed Sprout's IM this morning. I was in the bathroom getting ready for work and came out to find he had IM'd and logged off when he got no response. That just shucks! I'm gonna call my cable company and have DSL run to the bathroom. I might install a computer arm on the wall, just above the toilet paper holder.
Okay...you know you surf too much when you seriously entertain the idea of DSL in the john.
I gotta get back to quilting or something.
In other news, we had a big fish haul near here yesterday. Locally, we call this phenomenon a jubilee. It's one of the nicer reasons for living here. Jubilees are so much fun. You fisherman-types will love one of these. Personally, I like to call it manna from Heaven.

shucks about missing Sprout... you just need louder speakers so you can hear his "bling"...
well now that I've had coffee, you should just consider a wireless router and a laptop... I can take my laptop anywhere in my house or on the deck and still be connected to internet and AIM, etc. -- same speed -- just no wires! Then that laptop can perch in the loo with you (do you think that qualifies as a poem?)

I was going to suggest going the wireless route as well. You might need a "booster" or something depending on how spread out the house is, but it's great!
Thanks for the tip. My computer is on it's last leg, It's about 5 years old, held together with duct tape and the cat. Every time the cat moves, I have to reboot. Heck, I'm still using Windows 98. I'm vintage here. The only thing keeping me going is a son with creative computer knowledge. I'm thinking my next child will be a laptop. Then I will be truly free.
